Original Kente fabric from Ghana (5 yards)

Address: Ademola Street, Victoria Island
Location: Lagos
Condition: New

Kenté is a royal and sacred fabric of the Ashanti and Éwé peoples found in Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo.

Hand-woven from cotton or silk, composed of intertwined or checkerboard strips of fabric sewn together to form brightly colored patterns and figures.

Generally worn by kings or during extremely important ceremonies, it is a symbol of nobility and prestige.

It is authentic and perfect for personalizing your interior and creating creations (clothes, throws, accessories, jewelry, decorations, tablecloths, sofa covers, etc.)

Please note that this is a hand-woven fabric and may have small imperfections. However, each fabric is unique, and has symbols (patterns) which may vary, but the main colors remain the same.

Approximate dimensions (5 yards in 3 pieces).

Note: As this is a natural material, it is recommended to clean it with salt water and superfatted soap to ensure good durability of the fabric.
