Fashion entrepreneur Seyi Adekunle is the chairperson and lead designer of the Vodi Group of Companies, a company that excels in customized men’s suits and conventional clothes, as well as its sister company, which focuses on a wide range of shoes. He is well-known under the trade name Seyivodi.

Seyivodi’s Background
Seyi Adekunle born on July 19th in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Yoruba parents from Ile-Ife in Osun State. He had earlier stated that he went into fashion after failing the test for a bank job in 2002. Although, He later secured a bank job in 2003. He however abandoned it and decided to concentrate on his fashion trade.
The graduate of Geology from the University of Maiduguri registered his company in 2001 as Testimony Fabrics, before changing the name to ‘Vodi’ in 2003. During his service year at the NYSC, Seyi began sewing shirts and boxers for his fellow Corps members. As of May 2017, Seyi Vodi was listed as one of the largest fashion labels in Nigeria.
Seyivodi’s Brand
Since 2001, Vodi couture has transformed fashion by employing African materials to make one-of-a-kind designs that lend a modern twist to the conventional form while combining the fundamental principles of bespoke tailoring with bold, brilliant colors and luxurious textures. Vodi has sown for well-known figures like musician Davido and Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo.
The designer, on the other hand, doesn’t have a distinguishing appearance. A-list celebrities have been spotted wearing his designs in both the domestic and international markets.
