Behold the newly crowned Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III.

We make welcome the 21st Olu of Warri Kingdom Delta state of Nigeria also known as the Ogiame Atuwatse III of Isekeri land. The Young Monarch is 37 years old and people could only wonder how such a young leader could exude such wisdom and Grace. He on the day of his coronation reversed this curse placed by his predecessor on the land and also blessed his people and wish them peace and progress.

Little wonder, such a highly placed politician and an former president and military head of state in Nigeria in the person Ousegun Obasanjo could amidst his busy schedule find the time to visit and pay respect to the young Monarch.

His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, Chose the title His Majesty instead of the the former His Royal Highness because he understands that no king was allowed to used such title under the colonial mandate it is reserved for only the Queen of England, but the young King has chosen to emancipate himself from the colonial ideology.

Ascending the throne didn’t come on the platter for the young King, there were so many opposition, even from his own family. At a time the crown was stolen including some valuables from the Palace but that didn’t stop the coronation, undoubtedly he was the chosen one to ascend the throne and that he did with so much splendour.

The current Olu of Warri is Ogiame Atuwatse III, who was crowned on August 21, 2021, his name is Tsola Emiko is a brilliant man who is very hard working and industrious. He holds a Bachelors in art at the UK and he sit on board of many organisations today.
