During GTCO Fashion Weekend 2022, two sorts of activities take place: presentations and runway shows. One would believe that runway shows are superior in terms of generating press for a company; nevertheless, this relies on the firm’s goals and market position.
It’s certainly a good idea for newer designers to hold a fashion presentation where they can get close and personal with the journalists and prospects. Big established businesses, on the other hand, can opt for a splashy runway display to exercise their media muscles.
During the presentations, attendees interact with the items as well as meet with the designer and the brand communications team. Guests focus their attention on the finer points of a gown, accessories, hair, and cosmetics.
This direct encounter with the collection allows photographers and attendees to capture the designer’s clear sight. Another advantage of the presentations is that each attendee feels like they are in the front row of the event!
A presentation allows a designer and their team to really be on hand to address questions one-on-one, rather than closing the backstage entrance.
