Comedienne and ‘Insecure’ star Yvonne Orji, is diasporic with the Hollywood lifestyle.

Yvonne Anuli Orji commonly called Yvonne Orji is a Nigerian-American actress and comedian. Popularly recognised for her role in the television series Insecure (2016–present), for which she has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and three NAACP Image Awards in 2020.

Yvonne story started in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria before her family relocated to the United States. She is an alumnus of George Washington University where she studied liberal arts and then went on to receive a master’s degree in public health.

She is one of the many African American who never throws aside her ancestries or tries to subdue them. She relates with her aboriginal countrymen just as much as she does on the foreign plane.

Orji began development on a series for Disney+ titled First Gen this year. The series is based on her personal life and is produced by Oprah Winfrey and David Oyelowo.

Yvonne is the epitome of beauty and oozes indigenous cultural personae at all times. There is no greater feeling we could use to convey how delighted we are to see one of our own doing abundantly well outside of its community and kinfolk.
